Eat Locally; The Braintree Farmers MarketPurchasing foods that are grown and produced near where you live can improve your diet, conserve energy, promotes a cleaner environment, supports the local economy and helps family farms stay in business. Sustainable Braintree's Farmers Market will operate on Saturday mornings from 9 am to 1 pm from June 26, 2010 through October 30, 2010 with a special indoor Thanksgiving Market on November 20, 2010. The Market is situated on the newly refurbished Braintree Town Hall Mall on Washington Street which is in the town’s historic district. This convenient, central location is less than 1/4 mile off Route 3, near the Braintree split, and walking distance from the MBTA station.
